Hey Friends, we made it! We talked about budget, we discussed the vendor team behind the wedding, we chatted about all the dang details, and we touched on the timeline. Now it's time to bring it all together to the BIG DAY! Everything is going to be shiny and pretty and exciting and it's exactly what you've been waiting for! But this is also where the down and dirty work gets done. There will be running around. There will be heavy lifting. There will be sweating. But if you have a wedding planner, you don't have to do any of those things!

On the day of your wedding, you want to wake up, have some breakfast, and get ready with your wedding party. Have some champagne, take some pictures, cry a little, laugh a little and get ready to marry the love of your life. You know what's gonna kill that vibe? Setting up tables and chairs. Sending your parents to pick up flowers. Making your wedding party scramble around last minute to handle some forgotten detail. Getting everyone down the aisle on time. Making sure the caterer knows that photos are taking a little longer than anticipated. Keeping the happy couple fed and hydrated through the day (it's a long, busy day and really easy to drink too much booze and not eat enough food). Packing up the gifts and decor at the end of the night. Tearing down tables and chairs.
Your wedding is such a fun day and you'll have an amazing time celebrating with your friends and family. Let your wedding planner take care of the unsexy stuff so that you can focus on having a kick-ass party and beginning your beautiful new life together. Side note...we've talked over the past week about things that a full service wedding planner will do. But if you're ready to tackle the budget, vendors, details and timeline on your own, more power to you! You can still benefit from a wedding planner in the form of a Day-Of Coordinator. We'll do the dirty work with a smile on our faces so that you can enjoy the day.
Thanks for sticking with me this week, friends! This is just a snippet of what all goes into planning a wedding, and doesn't even begin to cover the connections and relationships that wedding planners build with their couples. Hopefully you got a better idea about whether you REALLY need a wedding planner, and if you do, I would love to go on that journey with you!
